We set out Sunday after lunch at Whole Foods in Austin to drive south. Went the back roads from Austin to Orange Grove, through Seguin, Stockdale, Karnes City, Kenedy, Beeville, and Mathis. Seguin was a very pretty town, but the others, not so much. But the countryside was beautiful and soothing, and there was hardly any traffic.
