... I need to set all my concerns and worries aside and make the most of this new adventure.
For anyone who doesn't know, I decided to volunteer in Perth, Australia for 2 months. I will be teaching english to child refugees who were relocated to Australia by the UN. After that, I'm going to travel a bit on my own and then with my sister to see Sydney, Bali, and Thailand. I'll be home on May 10th and I can't wait to see everyone when I get back:)
... of the exact address of the hospital (there are 4 different hospitals as part of the PENN network), so I asked the Air BnB host which one it was. She was very helpful and gave me walking directions. When I got there, no-one had heard of the therapist I was due to meet & it turned out I was at the wrong place! After making a few phone calls, asking the security guard for directions and a 20minute walk to the other hospital, I finally arrived! I ...
... isn't even listed now??? Did I miss it? Is this the twilight zone? I find a couple of other TK2 passengers, who have an easy to spot by the bewildered look on their faces - At least I'm not alone. We begin to suspect the flight is canceled, but there are no Turkish Air representatives to be found.
Eventually the plane, which has been idle on the tarmac, is moved to Gate 5 and we board.

I arrived at Haverford college in Haverford, where all of the head staff and counselors were all staying for the first 2 nights to get to know everyone and have orientation of the rules and so forth. I was able to meet some really lovely people in these first few days, but many of them were at other campuses, which was a shame. But there were still some great people at my camp so I was very happy to be at Villanova. ...
