Hello everyone, we are at one of our favorite RV parks in Panama City Beach, FL. The beaches here are wonderful, white sugar sand and Emerald green water. We were here last year about this same time so we planned a return trip. This year the weather has NOT been very favorable for beaching. ... and shoreline vegetation communities including beach dunes, maritime hammock, sand pine and scrub oak, medic flatwoods, tidal march and depressional marsh. And of course you end out on the lovely beach for a walk and another shell hunt.
We also came across this 32 foot abandoned sail boat, and now really stuck!!!

Well our tour of Florida comes to and end and off to search for warmer climate tomorrow.

To be honest, the only reason to go to Mexico Beach is to eat at Killer Seafood. Lots of beach but the community ambience is kind a meh. But we didn't care cuz shrimp and key lime pie awaited us after walking for an hour so on the beach. We traveled inland afterwards to Wewakitchka which was essentially mile ...

... a bit grittier – surprise!!. It was not what she expected. So many people eat this in the south everyday. We noticed a woman in the restaurant when leaving who had a couple of biscuits with grape jelly and a large plate of grits with big pads of butter and salt and pepper generously applied. She looked very content.

... decision was made to spend another few days at Mexico Beach. We will spend Thanksgiving Day here and celebrate it with all the other residents at the RV Park.
