    ... tour with audio. The kids enjoyed it and were interested to see the basic conditions and small cells. They were more interested in the escapes! At 2pm we thought they needed to be reminded of freedom so set off on bikes over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. Wow Totally recommend this amazing track and views and bridge. Come on Auckland, we could cycle or walk for free!! However in winter 2pm on a lovely Saturday could be a bit late to set ...

    ... to hide from a local hood who appeared to be "off his head" on something. As he walked past, we crept, hunched and hid behind the car so he couldn't see us, as he screamed obscenities to no one in particular at the top of his lungs.     Commenced our day by picking up a hire car. Steve ably navigated back to our hotel and then subsequently to Kate's apartment to pick her up for a drive around town.
