As we are cycling across the USA and thought we would be camping most of the time, we are finding motels to be cheaper or just as cheap as camping. So tonight we choose Days Inn and the room is clean, and from desk person very helpful.....Thanks

... RV Park just off the Interstate and we were surprised to find that this is a stop we made on our way back on our last trip out west just after John bunged up his knee in Idaho. It is a nice park, level, great electric, and as usual the WIFI has yet to be challenged!

We drove 186 miles today. Our weather has been perfect and we have had a relaxing day. Not so many great shots and no video but we have very much enjoyed our day. Hope you have too.

Okay back in business......not. It did it again a while later so we slept hot and sweaty all night. Not a great night....and no shower in the morning as we found the shower is not unlocked in the morning until 11:00 when the pool is open again. Lucky we have a potty on ...

We stopped at a place near Escalante and the coffee was great as were Martha's muffins which we ate at the outdoor table. The day again was cold to start but brilliantly sunny without a cloud in the sky.

      ... back road.

By the time we negotiated the roads across Nevada, past the Great Salt Lake, through Salt Lake City and then another 30 minutes north to Ogden, we arrived at 3:30 in the morning! Concerned about all we had planned in the next two days, we took the time to confer and rearranged our schedule again to make sure to reach our appointments tomorrow in Jackson, WY. To bed now...for some of ...

... for breakfast at a Starbucks. Armed with 3G, we decided to check the weather for our next destination, Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. Good move. 70 percent chance of rain and possible snow was expected for the area in which we were planning to camp. Considering the status of our tent, and our encounter with rain the past two days, we decided to save Grand Teton for another day, and instead head straight to the destination we ...
