... Tuesday had turned into Wednesday. We were exhausted but you need to keep going the first day to get used to the time change. Germany is 6 hours ahead of US EST. Our hostess, Yvonne met us at the airport and took us to her home. It is a former villa and she lives on one floor of it. Very unique! We went to the city and Yvonne showed us the main square and historical area. The streets were being closed and set up for a major ...

They met us along the way at least three times each day with a smile, encouragement, water, snacks and much needed tending to our aches and pains~ for me mainly my feet. Jose Lois taught me how to tend to my own blisters~ although he set up his "Dr" office each morning to be sure the blisters were all drained and protected each morning and evening. We ended up stopping for the night at
Glasgow Walmart which is only half an hour to the Cave we want to
tour tomorrow. Not the best nights sleep, a 30 year old man was using
the nearly empty Walmart carpark as his personal race track. He had a
large radio controlled jeep that he was driving at like 70kms and it
made a charming roar as it raced around. Headed to sleep once that
stopped around 11pm. Ah, the joys of camping at Walmart!
