No doubt our baptisms of fire and water yesterday were good for the soul, but so much more were our refreshing night's sleep and the events of today. Not that last night was without its reportable event: Syvia's nocturnal wandering culminated in her locking herself into the bathroom, unable to get out. The Butler Institute of Art featured lots super colorful abstract stuff, plus American Impressionists and portrait artists. My favorite piece was all purple and based on Romulus and Remus (Rome's foundation myth) and I took a video of it (accidentally erased) and there's no image available online. What a fun town! We're in the heart of Amish country and as proven during our first tour of Ohio a few months ago, the Amish LOVE circus. A good 85% of our audiences both days were Amish and they showed up early to see our animals, talk with our animal trainers, and line up to get good seats.
