A Winona, Ohio home stay - take two

A travel blog entry by greghills on Aug 17, 2015

We arrived back at the Rinto's around 5.00pm last Friday (14th) and once again were welcomed into their home. RuthAnn had to attend the United High School's sports team presentation and asked if we would like to come along. Agreed, as it should be an experience that we would not normally share. Around about 1.00pm thought we better make a move and head off toward Niagara Falls. Set the Garmin, ...

... the Rookie League Mets a couple of weeks ago; they were awful (mainly due to nothing whatever resembling pitching). Tonight's spectacle promised no better for the future of the Mets' franchise. Pitching tonight wasn't awful, except for one inning during which the Cyclones' pitcher couldn't find the plate with a GPS unit, but the hitting was beyond awful. Cyclones batters struck out 14 times and left 15 men on base. Eight of ...

... were right back to having a flat tire. So then dad pulled over and attempted at changing the tire. Though there were many challenges dad put on the new tire and we were finally headed on our way. After arriving at the Grand Canyon we hiked the turkey trail and headed to Elk County's Visitor Center to explore and hopefully see some elk. Even though we did not see any elk we ended the day getting supper at subway and heading to the ...
