That's right... three nights in a row without internet!
The first, at Monticello, their internet had gone down. The next, it was so slow I couldn't even access e-mails. Last night I was on the road.
But I assure you I have some great things to tell you all about my visit to Walkill, particularly Patterson and, finally, Brooklyn.

... the cave - it's been a tourist attraction since 1880's. The cave is really impressive. It has the traditional stalagmites and stalactites plus many vales and awnings. Touring via boat is really ideal as it is so smooth and dreamy. They did a nice job lighting the caves - just enough to see the formations but not too much so it still felt like a natural cave. There was one section that they lit with multi-colored lights ...
This Friday, August 16 we set out on our (almost) cross-country trip. We leave from our house in Chatham, NJ with major destination being Yellowstone National Park where we will camp for seven nights. We're taking four days to get there and 4 days home.
