Lake Carlyle I'll,Columbia, Independence and Rockport MO When we left KY we almost felt like we were leaving home. Having spent 10 days there we had made friends with quite a few people. ... us entertained till the next rest stop and we decided to make it a competition. We stopped later for lunch, our last meal in the US. Their special for the day was walking tacos with Doritos, and the workers had lovely northern accents. I also picked up an ice cream Milky Way bar that I haven't seen since France. Tomorrow we will be heading to Grand Island, NE to visit with Dave (one of Pat's brothers) and his wife Linda for a few days. For those curious minds who want to know and who keep asking about our final destination -- other than getting home to Mt. Juliet safe and sound, the road trip will find us at the wedding of a great niece on September 6 in Grand Forks, ND. See you after that!

... paneer, jeera rice and raita. After a sumptuous lunch we started to drive again and our next stop was coffee in Lincoln, NE. then we drove straight to ames and had delicious dinner made and kept by Supraja for us. so we reached home and all in all we drove 5858miles :-)
