... today so we proceeded to traipse up and down the aisles to see if we really needed some things. Well we did find a few things we wanted, not needed. The first thing we purchased was a vacuum. Yes I know I did already have one, but this one is so cute and small and has great suction power I just had to have it. We left Portage yesterday morning headed for Madison. First we had to stop and fill up with gas since we were going to be using the generator for the next week. After filling up and hooking up the car, we got on the road toward the meeting point for our convoy into the rally grounds.

Once we hooked up with the group we were going in with we got back on the road. We arrived at the Alliant Energy Center about 12:30 ...

I also continually fight bringing up the AuroraWebcam site! I'm a night owl anyway. If I continue this route I'll stay up all night "viewing". But nothing could compare to the feeling of standing under that starry night and watching the miracle of that color jumping across the sky.
