... day and were soon on our way to Madison.

This was our first real look at the country and it was wonderful, green, with lakes and rivers. I live in a desert and crave green. Mindful of the crowds that would be filing into Madison for the 11 am football game we came in from the east hoping to avoid them- which we did. In the process though we passed by the Olbrich ...

On June 19th, after presenting my final paper, I will sadly be getting on a plane for a 31 hour journey back the the good ol' U.S.A. With 2 long layovers in Japan, however, I ...

Beer and food were available there, and other than a few squished beer gardens, I think this was the main tailgating option. While we personally had a good time, the tailgating as a whole is lacking. Rating - 4 of 10.

The Game - Ohio State entered the game sitting on top of the Big 10 Leaders Division with a perfect 10-0 record. ...

... Cafe Early also served a number of unique sandwiches including the Turkish sandwich, which was like a doner kebab, but in a baguette and with a better cut of meat. Across the street from Cafe Early is Cafe Barfuss. Barfuss is where I ate my last dinner with my parents before we went our separate ways in Marburg. I always really enjoyed the wiener schnitzel there. Not only was it delicious, but it was also very inexpensive. The platters were also ...

        will be fantastic.

We are definitely not going to miss all the fried foods and we can't
wait to eat salads every day for the rest our lives! On the other hand,
we'll miss our family and the wilderness and we had tons of fun
speaking with a Wisconsin accent for the week, it provided us with hours
of entertainment and eventually stuck. Hopefully John won't slip into
        it while ...
