The next morning came way to fast and off we went to "git-er-fixed". Nooo Nellie, not Lulu, the air-conditioner....After a wonderful journey of 2 blocks we pulled into the repair place, arriving at 8:30 AM, went on in, told the guy who we were, what we wanted and turned over the keys. I can not express how thankful I am that this opportunity was given to me, and I don't know how I ...

... whoops, calling it a little close there I would say. Anyway, two of the most wonderful hours of the trip. It was blustery, but we were having so much fun we didn't notice the cold.

Still in awe of our boat ride we drove around Peninsula Park. We climbed the tower, tried hard to not notice the swaying at the top, but loved the views and being able to see where ...

We Never Really Talked About Fairbanks

... by our standards, the people there still wore short sleeve shirts, cheerleader uniforms, basketball shorts etc. It made us cold just looking at them. The night we went to Denny's to get Kim her waffle, there were several kids there after a basketball game. They navigate the area like its just normal temperatures and not all that cold. When we did wear our snow pants and complete gear, we looked quite out of place!

Other than ...
