    So we both retired in August but have been too busy to think about THE BIG TRIP. Also, going for 24 days involves a lot more prep. Finally relaxed and ready to switch to vacation mode yesterday. Turned on news to discover that travel to Australia is on Red Alert status due to ISIS threat. Gives real meaning to live each day to the fullest.     The Butler Institute of Art featured lots super colorful abstract stuff, plus American Impressionists and portrait artists. My favorite piece was all purple and based on Romulus and Remus (Rome's foundation myth) and I took a video of it (accidentally erased) and there's no image available online.
