We are already planning for next year's adventure and hoping others learn the rewards of travel as much as we have. All four of us agreed it was a wonderful trip and we would travel with Gate 1 again. The hotels were centrally located and there was less pressure to add on every excursion as we found with previous tour companies. Spain and Portugal are beautiful countries with so much history. It was sad to leave our friends @ Germantown, near Washington. Once again, we are reminded how generous people are with their time and hospitality.
Our journey will now take us in a north-westerley direction with our eventual goal being the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming before the winter sets in.
