    First I gotta say, La is green!!! Getting off the plane to greet my cousin, I was engulfed in the "greenness" of the state. And to be honest, I had no complaints!! After Brittany Larmer ( yep, no longer a Lamoureux since she eloped to her army guy) picked me up at the airport, we went costume shopping for her and the family.     ... is across the lake. Sat around and visited with all the camp folks....Jimmy made his famous ribs...wow cooked for 8 hours...fell off the bones. We had splash beans....found out today what there were. Someone spilled the beans, no pun intended....so they are now called splash beans. White, red and pinto beans mixed with spices very good.
