... days we've had by far were the ones which were unscheduled, where we relaxed and let the day take us where it would.
We're now 1.5 months in, planting at my parent's place in NJ for two weeks. It feels good. We've got some planting in our future too- a full week in Burning Man, and then about a week in Carlsbad, CA. Then off to Ecuador.

... the plane. We started boarding at 8:05 then at 8:45 we were off to Iceland. Luckily my TV worked this time so I watched American Sniper and 127 Hours both of which I thought were really good. We landed on time at Iceland and I ended up getting rather confused in the airport. ... appreciated and completely opposite of our flight to Europe where we practically had to beg for a drink. When we were about an hour and a half away from home they came around with a warm turkey and cheese sandwich which was the perfect wake-me-up before we got off the plane. When we finally got off the plane around noon EST we were all stuck in a large group of people which was not moving. When we finally got to the front of the line we figured out ...
... barrier, but to my surprise, many people did speak English. The French have a stereotype of hating Americans, but I did not experience that at all. They were all very nice and very welcoming.
This trip has made me want to explore and visit new countries. Maybe next time I visit France, I will know more than, "merci" or "bonjour"
... at the dry-aged House of Beef seemed outsized, so I gave that a pass. Ultimately, I was seduced by the inviting aroma of rosemary from the Smashburger outlet. I think I also remember someone saying something good about them at some point. Verdict: pretty good. I'd have liked less oil and more rosemary on the fries, but the burger was juicy and they didn't skimp on the portabellos. They also had three fresh-brewed iced tea options. My receipt ...
