... Eight inches of snow covers the lot, but the MH is warm and cozy and waiting for our inspection/review/checking out. Take your pick. Cheryl is even nicer in person and shows us the rig. Plus, she shows us a fancier one, at my request. Dang, will I never learn??
Long story short, we miss our reservations to have East Indian food, due to the lateness of the hour AND the ****** weather, and have re-heated pizza at the Quality Inn. ...
I jotted down some thoughts on traveling solo:
* is o.k...
* but, it's nice to have someone to share your experiences with
* you only have yourself to please
* it can be boring at times
* restaurants with people outside inviting people in ignore someone on their own ;-)
* there is no one to watch your baggage for you
* you talk to people & make friends you wouldn't otherwise make
... My heart got a work out since I haven't done any aerobic activity for almost a year...
2 things I'm glad I did, packing cubes, don't really like the idea of strangers touching my clothes... Just weird like that! And so glad I didn't check my bags as they wouldn't have made it, though it wasn't fun running through the airport with them...
