... a dish called Efoutee, a spicy chicken dish with dirty rice nom nom!! In he afternoon we headed out to the Stockyards whe we got to see a real life cattle drive through the Main Street. Some of the horns on the long horns are huge! They still have the original cattle pens & railway tracks as well as a rodeo every w/e. back in their heyday they were the largest cattle traders around & the old meat packing plants & auction houses can be seen still. ...

... really because he hated the separation), but there was a handle on the life jacket. We could easily pick him up and toss him on board.




We spent the day paddling, resting while floating in the boats, picnicking, and lolly gagging in the water. It was a hot, sunny, and very beautiful day! We had a ball!



We love this lake. We plan to go here a lot more in the future.

We arrived in Oklahoma City this morning around 4 am. We set up camp in record time and crashed! Woke up to rain and checked the weather forecast. The weather channel was forecasting continued rain, possibly severe over the next few days for both OK and AR, so we've decided to head south ...

... guys-go-on-a-misadventure movies. I didn;t think The Hangover was funny at all. This was good, though. I like Ed Helms and Jason Segel, and there's a really sweet story line with Susan Sarandon, who looks great (and I can't see any signs of "work"--who IS her surgeon?

Salmon Fishing in the Yemen--I had seen Ewan McGregor on Graham Norton talking about this, and I was anxious to see it. And I'll see anything with Emily Blunt, I enjoyed it, but ...
