After Richard golfed, Pauline did laundry and Kirk washed the car we headed to Fort Lauderdale using A1A. It clearly is Spring Break as there are lots of young people on the beach and it was a beautiful day for it. The lifeguard stations were flying green flags indicating it was OK. As usual there were large ocean-going boats anchored off the inlet into Lauderdale although the port was largely empty of commercial traffic and cruise ships.

I spent many hours playing games in the Piano Bar, suntanning on Deck 7, and watching movies in people's rooms, even though I fell asleep half the time. It was also really fun to sleep up on Deck 7 under the stars waking up to the sunrise as we traveled through the Panama Canal.
