It was an easy transfer from the hotel to the 7 Seas Navigator cruise ship just in time for lunch and time to unpack before the safety drill and finally a glass of champagne on the balcony as we sailed away from Miami. We shall be seeing this city again in 3 weeks ...

With time running out, go to a nearby tourist hotel, ask at the desk if they can get a taxi, as we will miss our cruise. They are sympathetic, pass us on to an organiser type, who appears to be getting a car for us, but the dispatch area is crowded with guests from the hotel wanting taxis, or valet parked cars, so ...

Don't drink the water or eat raw greens. We brought a MIOX water purifier and 2 Steri-Pens and always had pure water to brush our teeth.
