    Languishing in Lauderdale

    After Richard golfed, Pauline did laundry and Kirk washed the car we headed to Fort Lauderdale using A1A. It clearly is Spring Break as there are lots of young people on the beach and it was a beautiful day for it. The lifeguard stations were flying green flags indicating it was OK. As usual there were large ocean-going boats anchored off the inlet into Lauderdale although the port was largely empty of commercial traffic and cruise ships.

    ... the last one of the already last group of study abroad kids leaving to Austria. After weeks of chatting and following my other study abroad friends It's finally my turn.
    And I'm pretty terrified.
    I've always had an anxiety for flying, nothing mayor, I dont get panic attacks or anything like that, but I prefer to not be on the window ...

    ... 4", Steph thinks he's some kind of Ray Charles, after my performance at the Comedy Live, he's entitled to it !!

    The main dining room is open, we visit it. After admiring the shiny chandelier, noticing that the pattern of the plates is the same as the pattern of the floor, and participating to an arduous game (finding the number of our table), we eventually find where we are supposed to dine !

    RCI was nice, they granted us the table for 2 that we asked for, and we have ...

    ... that they can still tell us their favorite parts of the show! After that I went with Marty to the Improv show. Quite funny!! We decided to make ourselves the biggest nalgene full of our fancy vodka drink, and that may have aided and abetted the sleep happening easily!! A GREAT DAY!

    Tomorrow? We hit our first island: St. Maarten! Saaaa-wwweet! MUST-FIND-WATERWINGS!
