      ... stunt show, well lets say Movie Worlds stunt show is a Hyundai Getz and Universal Studios stunt show is a Lamborghini. Hopefully I can upload some videos (if they turned out ok) It really shows how easily Hollywood movies are made. There were explosions, fire, guns shooting blanks, aeroplane crashes, blood, everything! All in a small space too. They really are the pro's in this profession.

      ... 97 years ago on what was the outskirts of LA. As the city grew they have moved their vineyards and operations to Central California but retained the old buildings as a distribution centre for LA. It has great food and atmosphere. We had a Maddalena Merlot, from Paso Robles which was good red wine. We spent most of the afternoon chatting with Schani; it appears LA puclic servants also observe early Friday knock off.

      ... nails were done, we went to the Luxe Hotel to wait for Maxinne. The Luxe hotel is a great place to people watch right on Rodeo Drive, so we got our selves settled to wait for Maxinne. Maxinne arrived and after several cocktails, glasses of Wine, plus two cheese platters & desserts we head off for a drive around. Feeling a little jaded, so an early night is the order of the day.

      By the way: arriving in L.A. wasn't funny at all. After approximately 24h travelling I finally got to L.A. where I had to realize that it was pouring like never before the last last and bitter cold respectively...

      addendum to yesterday: 4h hours walking along Santa Monica Beach. Car trip with the "guest-daughter", who showed me where to shop and how to get zu school..
