... a handy dandy mat!

We had to set up in the rain and our planned bbq ended up being a pan fry. Of course that got the fire alarm going so that battery was removed! Oh well! We'll put it back before we head out again. :-)

We're staying over for the day to do some more laundry, do some cleanup and just rest. We head to Miami ...

We spent the morning at the campsite figuring out what type of battery we needed to order and how to change it. I have been super impressed by Chris and everything he has learned about the Westy. Some things are too big and need a mechanic of course but overall he has been great at figuring out and fixing all the little problems. I try to help be his wingman and do some research and bounce ideas around but he has really stepped up to take care of the van. ...

Another RSGC friend Elden stopped by the track on his way from Toronto to Miami in his new car. He phoned me but I guess could not get a one day ticket to come into the trac and say hi. Ormond Beach was flawless! When we arrived, somehow we charmed the front desk because they upgraded our room for free! We had beautiful suite with a full kitchen and balcony overlooking the beach. It was fantastic. Sadly it was only for 2 nights but it was still a wonderful place to visit. The area is very wealthy. We drove around just to look at ...
