... one of our group had the sense to call the Visitor Centre only to find that park ranger called in sick and they had no way of letting us know that the tour was no longer running - "soz!". Anyway, the park is fairly compact, with good tracks and information boards so we were still able to enjoy the beauty of the place and find out a bit more on the background.

Had a very good time with Phoenix and her Sweetie, Sky. She works at PF Chang in Colorado Springs and he works at another local Chinese restaurant. Phoenix took us to the Garden of the Gods National Park for a lovely afternoon. Amazingly beautiful!

... lunch on the patio. Keith, of course, took great care of us.

We drove another hour to Fort Collins and decided we wanted crab legs for dinner. We stopped at the store and stocked up and made it home around 5pm. It was a beautiful night so we sat on the deck and pigged out and regaled our roomie Rebecca with tails from the road.

It was an awesome trip. We are happy to be home.

... up at me so sad and I started crying. This room was a series of glass enclosures with no apparent ventilation to the actual enclosures so I have no idea why but again the smell was unbearable. It knocks you over its so bad. The enclosures themselves are sad. There is nothing natural about them at all. Very bland, all tan/cream colored. Nothing stimulating or natural.
