The day was actually better than we expected. The riverboat was fun and so was the gold panning. But, we did not strike it rich as we had hoped. But some people did find up to $42 worth of gold...not bad for an hours work!
Back at the hotel, it was too late to take a shuttle into downtown Fairbanks. So we left that for the next day and called it a night.
