    A lot of improvements have been done since I last remember being here. A very nice portico that brings you right to the viewing deck for the monument. The edges of the portico are lined with the flags of each state in the order in which they entered the Union. It's interesting to see how many of the big western states joined the Union long after Oregon became a state.
