Wouldn't you know, my last day of work before my trip was extremely hectic. Several issues popped up last minute that I tried to take care of before I walked out the door, but a few I had to leave behind. I've been asked many times what made me want to walk the Camino. Several years ago ...

It really did feel good to get moving again. The morning was cold and misty. Moisture is just such an odd thing for us. The air feels so heavy that it makes riding a little more difficult. We rode through beautiful little towns, named Colony, Kincaid, Lone Elm, Blue Mound, Mound City, Trading Post. We visited ...

Tonight, Ashley and I started planning our family vacation for the year 2013. Little Rob will be 3 years old and Baby Alivia will be 1 year old. As of tonight, we decided that we are going to drive from Garden City to Santa Ana, CA. We're thinking it will take about 4 days to drive roundtrip. We looked at different travel options. From flying ...

Rain Rain Rain - that has all we have had the last 24 plus hours, heavy downpours with lightning and thunder, our pond is flooded as well as all the area creeks. It makes for an interesting juggling match running back and forth from the house to the trailer trying not to get drenched while loading for this much anticipated trip. We understand that Alaska's weather can be much the same as we have experienced the last couple of days ...
