    ... take it off the web site...Do you still want to stay here ?" It was around 430 PM, raining, and I had driven about 330 miles, of course I wanted to stay. I had decided that I would stay a couple of days to unwind, so I paid for 4 nights at 36 bucks per. I was lead to my site, set up and got settled in.

    I had a good drive, but didn't particular like seeing that accident and was looking forward to a couple days off the road.....Life is wonderful indeedy.. ...

    ... Christian and I remembered that this was the bull’s eye for Hurricane Katrina and also the home of the family of ABC’s Robin Roberts. She had all the viewers of Good Morning America praying for her aging mother after the hurricane hit. I remember it well. And in Pass Christian there were a few parking spaces in occasional areas, and there was a public beach with a limited sized parking lot and a pier.

    ... friends, and the service reflects this leisurely pace. Despite being summer, the place was full, and we enjoy watching the crowd as we sip on our last Cuban coffees.

    It was great to see the places in Marcus’s stories and a good introduction tour of a college campus for the kids…I can’t believe in 5-6 years we’ll be looking at college campuses with Maxwell for real! On to Fort Walton Beach next. ...

    We began our trip to Oshkosh on Thursday morning. Lunch in Tifton, GA at Hog and Bone Barbeque. Good sandwich - there is also one of these in Waycross. Arrived at the campground around 2 PM after changing to central time zone. Our site is about 20 feet from the edge of the lake. We can watch the boaters from our bedroom window! We'll try to leave early tomorrow since it is another almost 300 mile day. ...
