... as a swamp tour. We had no idea what to expect but it turned out to be a great experience. There were about 10 of us and a guide taking off in a boat designed for sliding through tight spaces and shallow water. We spent two and a half hours on the water going through swamp areas, a lake, and a bayou and viewing an amazing array of birdlife and cypress trees. We even lucked out and had some sunshine on part of the trip.

November 4th
In the morning Lynn and I hit the swamp, hurp-hurp. We went for a tour on the Manchac Swamp.
Lotsa gators, turtles and spooky history stories. Very pretty.
