I had an absolutely wonderful birthday. Here's an overview:

We stayed in Hampton Inn for two nights, which is SOOO nice. It's Michael's favorite hotel chain from his forensics traveling days. And I see why.

On the day of my birthday, we were not scheduled for a show until 12:15! Which meant we didn't have to be there until 10:30 -leaving the hotel at 10:15. This all equals sleeping in! When I woke up, about ...

... We were a rowdy bunch. On landing,one person yelled were gong down and the girl next to me freaked and and was like "Oh NO!!!". She actually thought we were crashing.
At what must have been midnight we landed in LAX. I do not like LAX, too busy. Our Qantas flight to Australia was right on time and we boarded our long awaiting flight where nice seats and leg room was awaiting us.
