    ... great room rate for us in Elgin/Dundee IL. After checking in and browsing local eateries we set out to Dominick's Pizzeria for an authentic Chicago pizza experience. Our hearts were broken to discover a true Chicago deep dish or stuffed crust pizza would take an hour to bake. That was far too long for the famished family.     As of last week I have been accepted to teach abroad in China for an entire year starting this February 2015 with CIEE (Council on International Education and Exchange)! I cannot wait to see what I can offer the other side of the world and vise versa :) I won't be updating my blog much before I leave, but will try to keep up to date once I start my adventure on the other side of the world. I will ideally being doing at least 2 entires a week...fingers crossed.

    We then continued to explore our way back to the train station as the sun was setting. It was a warm and pleasant evening without a hint of rain. We took Ros' advice for our last taste of Chicago at the station, Garrett's popcorn Chicago mix. This is half caramel corn and half cheese corn.     Wow, this is probably the first blog that I am writing myself....If Bill is nice, I'll let him put in his two cents. LOL

    Saturday night we stayed in the lodge with the group until about 3am not really realizing we were leaving in 3 hours. I got up and cleaned up a bit before I got Ryan's still drunk self up. We packed and headed to check out knowing he was still drunk and was never going to make it out of the dragon to the highway with out him getting sick, so me thinking ahead asked for a trash bag and a couple miles in sure enough he got sick but kept it all in the bag.
