      Juice!

A travel blog entry by eileenkel on Nov 16, 2014

popped in on Juice (Jessica Carson Shelley) in Shaker Heights as I couldn't have been that close to her and not pop in. I needed a Juice hug too.

What a fun family! Cutie pie kids, dogs that needed belly rubs, and can't forget the birds!

Watch out for that first step out the back tho. Little rough on the knees ;-)

... we have now reached Ravenna in Ohio. Our stop for for the night is the Rocking Horse Inn, which we booked only this morning. It is a 'stick-style' Victorian house, once a convent, but now a fabulously quaint and ornate B&B. We have just had a wonderful impromptu dinner with our hosts, some local friends and another guest. Taken aback by such generous hospitality, it just shows that if you can't win them all, you can certainly win some of them.

It had been said that of all of the venues we were to have on this tour, this one would be the worst. Not because of crowds, but because of the load-in/load out. I truly believe that what they said was wrong. I admit that there was a minimal dock, allowing for only two trucks to back in and unload, (Holmdel NJ, only had one, and Jones Beach didn't have any.) none the ...

... a city park in Stow, Ohio just southeast a couple miles from Cuyahoga National Park (yes, I said National Park).

We found Silver Lake Campground on our "AllStays" iPhone app, several miles off the interstate. It only cost $12/night with electricity. Winding through the back roads amongst commuters heading home from work we pull into the narrow road of the park which opens up to an expansive campground, just lovely. The evening sun ...

... Walmart parking lot. We found one about 4 miles north, parked, ate lunch, unhooked Mr. Toad and drove off. I love traveling!

This turned out to be a good thing because we had to stop by a UPS store to pick up a business letter in need of our signature and stop at a local Chase Bank to cash a couple checks, pick up some cash and tell them we are going to Canada so our ATM cards will work up there.

Finally arriving at HOF, we ...
