We are settled in a lovely park with a Passport America discount but it used to be a KOA. When we approached the office we both commented on it sure looks like the typical KOA office and sure enough we were right.

Day 9 (April 25) -- Words of a song ring through my head-- Indiana wants me but I can't go back there..... No particular reason other than the fact we are heading ever eastward. Tonight we arrived at this campground about 10 miles from Tecumseh, Michigan around 4:30 or 5pm -- a good bit of driving as we were on the road at 8:30 am and had very few stops -- a slight detour and, of course, a slow down going through/on the edge of Chicago. ... take a bit less -- for such an extended trip, so I thought I'd recap what it entails. (so you can skip this part if you're not interested). I used Ziploc bags, nothing fancy. Each one respectively contains:
- 3 t-shirts, a button down short sleeved shirt, a long sleeved blousy shirt
- 3 shorts, a loose fitting pair of pants, suitable for beach coverup, lounging
- bathing suit, coverup, sun hat
- 3 pair of socks, 7 underpants, 2 bra, ...
... in Ohio. For Kylee's first trip it was going well. We only need two stops in Ohio and two in Kentucky. This allowed Kylee to stretch out a little. Kaleb did an awesome job helping out with Kylee in the backseat. By 6:30 pm, we had made it to Tennessee and finally came to our first bit of trouble.
