... It was a bit perplexing, as a sound, because it was coming from the direction of the river, where there is no campground and unlikely to be any people. Also the "dog" didn’t move. This morning, when it started up again, I wondered if it was some sort of bird; the sound was a little throatier than a dog’s bark. We had an early dinner and sat inside today for a change and finished it all up quite quickly, must have been hungry. Tonight, Cheryl and Dave had arranged for us to try "Smores", which involved roasting marshmallows, placing them and Hershey’s chocolate between two gram crackers, holy heart attack!
