We are in bed, leaving at 2:30 AM!! Flying from Fort Myers to Newark, then on to Duesseldorf on Lufthansa. Packing was a nightmare given that the weather will be all over the place. Still doesn't feel real. We are really looking forward to our adventure! (And hope the Lightning win the Stanley Cup!) Sitting in airport in Fort Myers. Got here early but that's ...

Today's the day I got my funny baby finger fixed. Woke up from surgery to realize that, not only would my finger be out of commission for a while, but my entire right arm, all the way up to the elbow is in a soft cast! Yikes...wasn't expecting that!

I'm at the train station in Tampa waiting for my two-hour delayed train to Miami. I will be staying at the Everglades Hostel and I'm wondering what awaits me this time... Tampa has been an incredible experience and the following is an account of some of the things that occurred: October 31st - Halloween The best place to celebrate Halloween is in Byou, a small replica Cuban town ten minutes from the hostel. Four of us (Ole, Lewis, Frank and me) ...
