    ... with bright oranges, yellows and reds! The road runs along the crest and there are plenty of pull-outs that probably provide great views, but low clouds kept us from seeing much.     ... excellent continental breakfast, I hiked a mile and a half over to the road to Troutville, VA, a small town that offers free camping in the town park and free showers and laundry at the fire station across the street. I set up my tent and seam sealed it, which involved basically painting a silicon solution over the seams to fully waterproof them. Back at the parking area, we all crammed into the car and drove back to Sulphur Springs Trailhead to get the other car.
