As Jeanne said "The good times just keep getting better. And, Karen, thanks for coordinating everything with the house. From here, we stopped in Bedford to get a late lunch at El Cazador and then made our way home, actually arriving home at a decent hour for ...

... easier since I was avoiding the freeways. The day was sunny although there was still a strong wind. (Is it always windy I wonder?) One stretch was a divided highway, 2 lanes on either side with practically no traffic. The boulevard in between was grassy and dotted with trees dressed in glorious colours of oranges and yellows, looking like great big bouquets of tightly bunched fall chrysanthemums. Many driveways and front yards had lovely ...

... but they weren't open until 10:00am; glad I didn't, as this is really a walking city.

    • Outdoor concerts & street performers everywhere.
    • Took in a movie at an old, restored movie theatre to end the night. Saw "Skeleton Twins" - loved this movie - well done, powerful, emotional.
    • 47 miles.
    • Will wake up in the morning (Sunday), hit my favorite cafe, and figure out where to next!!! ...
