The bags are packed, with plenty of room (so I thought) for souvenirs from Italy--never having been to Europe, I am beyond excited. It's Friday night, and Eileen and I are waiting for our flight in the United Club. While this was amazing adventure and a huge turning point for me, it is not the end, but just the beginning. ... proper sandwiches with the crusts cut off as well as scones with jam and cream!

Feeling like 8 hours had passed by in a flash we were suddenly on our descent into Chicago. At the end of the flight Dominica approached with a free bottle of Taittinger champagne to celebrate our honeymoon on our road trip. A lovely gesture!

After exiting the plane and clearing customs we must be the only first-class passengers in history ...
