... night of sleep to prepare us for a busy day tomorrow. I will leave you all with my favorite parts of the day: the river otters at the zoo, experiencing Wrigley Field, a man singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" in the train station, and the interaction we had with a woman who may very well be the only polite driver in the entire city of Chicago. She waved us on to walk in front of her - a ...

... Enjoyed a great meal in an American Steak House in Amarillo and then visited the Cadillac Ranch where we spray painted some of the cars - which was completely allowable! We also reached the mid-point of Route 66. There is a cafe at the mid-point that is usually closed over the winter months. ... the few that were, we ducked our heads in - souvenir & gift shops, grocery store. This part of Chinatown reminded me of our Chinatown - not busy, and not large. I found myself missing the energy of San Francisco's Chinatown I visited last year. One of the nice quiet things though is to really be able to take it in.

Delving away from the 1 main street, we walked around the residential neighborhood seem, observing people going about their daily routines, ...

... my evening sat on a roof top, looking over the sparkling city, drinking beer, eating the nicest pizza and listening to the only artist that you should when in Chicago, Kanye West.

The next morning I woke up knowing I had a busy day ahead of myself, I knew I had to fit absolutely everything in on the Tuesday, as I had to get up at 4:30am for my flight on the following morning. So I got up, got showered and dressed and went to catch ...
