... the towel....that lasted about two minutes.

A couple of things I forgot in the last update which shows just how much we can't catch a break, mostly from our own doing. We've lost four ratchet straps and one tire and have no idea where any of them went. We took the flat tire we had just outside of Niceville FL and ratcheted it on the top of the trailer and when we stopped for the day, no tire and no ratchet....want to ...

JD is in high gear this morning. Took the truck into town for gas and quick Egg McMuffin breakfast. Pack up was quick and on the road by 8:00 am. JD wants to make it in 3 days so we're trying to do 470 miles today. Destination Dothan, AL. It turned 83 degrees in Montgomery - driving with the windows down - nice! Arrived earlier than planned at Pecan Point RV Park, set up and relaxed. Nice level site, easy access, facilities not that great, just ...

We ate at a sushi restaurant (where I got my first taste ever of Toro tuna) and then went back to his house on the St. John's River. I got to ...

... You really could spend an entire day just wandering the spaces and reading each of the spec on the planes. Likewise there are a massive number of videos on all sorts of topics from actual dog fights to POW's. We wandered the base then set off for tonight's destination of Chipley in Florida. It was again a pleasant enough ride until the usual daily occurs clog a massive thunder storm rolls in. It happens every day ...

I departed at 8:30am from home and met up with Ramiro on the Turnpike close to where he lives. We took the Turnpike North to I-75 and onward to I-10 West where we then turned North at Mariana (SR231 or 321?). We pulled over around 7pm in Dothan, AL, at ...
