Driving south of Regina on Hwy 6, not even a tiny turn was needed! An 8-10 mile stretch south of Weyburn, Sask provided quite the active oil fields. Oil wells seem to be Iocated near or at the top of a knoll.....and in the middle of a wheat field or other crops. Pipelines are being installed. Heavy equipment and huge trucks fill the landscape. On Monday morning I went for coffee as usual (second day running!) at the camp office. We mostly reminisced about the good old days, when mom cooked food on the wood-fired stove, and gas cost 10 cents per gallon.
