... will probably be gone, but I imagine the industrial barge activity will continue.  River cruise ships will be fewer, but hopefully have more success navigating.  I am not even sure if the water level will be high or low at that time of year - perhaps low before spring run-off?  Will any campers in their caravans brave the cold and set up along the shore?  Will the castles be blanketed in snow? ...

... to remove the cover so I drove pretty much blind to the campsite...about 100 meters...Interesting drive as I could not see anything...no lights...no signs...nothing. Thankfully no one came along the opposite direction!!! On Monday morning I went for coffee as usual (second day running!) at the camp office. We mostly reminisced about the good old days, when mom cooked food on the wood-fired stove, and gas cost 10 cents per gallon.
