    We then caught the small ferry across the river and went to Hubuxiang street for more dry noodles with sesame paste, and spicy potatoes, before returning back to the hotel via the ferry to get a taxti (very difficult!) to get to the station for our 5pm train back to Nanjing.

    ... lived in New York for years, and her western partner was a lovely Greek man called Nick. We spent a long time chatting to them and had a lovely pizza and a couple of bottles of white wine.
