      Lookout Mountain is the most recognizable landmark in Chattanooga, towering over the River just south of the city. We drove up the mountain this wet and dreary morning to Ruby Falls where Bill led us on a tour through the cave to the Falls. The cave and falls were discovered in 1928 by Leo Lambert who had been boring a shaft looking for Lookout Mountain Cave.
