... flight to Dallas, where my lovely wife was waiting for me. I was home by about 10:00 but it felt like late afternoon. The whole trip from the time I left the hotel for the airport until I arrived home had taken about 35 hours.

Thanks for following along, and for your prayers for God’s guidance and protection. They are most appreciated. If all goes as planned my next trip will be to Africa and Europe and should start in about 5 ...

We also watch a baseball game at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Rangers vs Giants. Rangers win thanks to a 2-run homer by Josh Hamilton ...

We are all here and ready to board our AA 787 airplane for Beijing. Our flight will be a little under 14 hours and we will arrive at 2:15 pm. We met the parents of Ryan and Frances Nguyen, Hahn and Hahn at DFW Airport. We also met Max Kaufman's father, Peter Kaufman. We really appreciate all of the parents and other family member's support in preparing your child to go to China. ...

... to recall the events of that day. The cockroach museum lightened things up for us- it was a quick, but memorable stop( wink, wink!). Our drive to Austin was full of exclamations-"Blue Bonnets!! Blue Bonnets on the right!!" The roadside was so colorful. Once in Austin, it was fried chicken at Lucy's- fun to sit out in the cool evening air with a tin bucket of fried chicken- and some FRIED deviled eggs. Yep- gotta get a cholesterol check once we return ...
