    ... Falls and Bridal Veil on the American side of the border and the Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side. I think the Horseshoe Falls is the more spectacular. The Falls are capable of producing up to 4 million kilowatts of electricity which is shared by Canada and America.

    Four of the five Great Lakes drain into the Niagara River (Superior, Michigan, Huron and Erie) before flowing into Lake Ontario.

    The next trail was called Hardwood Lookout. It was a slightly tougher uphill walk to a lookout point over a lake. Ashleigh spotted what we think was bear poo at the side of the track. It tasted nutty. Only joking. Shortly after that we noticed a dense black shape through the trees. It really freaked us out as was exactly the same shape as a bear. I reckon I'm faster than Ash so I would have been alright but it would have put a bit of a downer on things if ...

    ... variables to make it a robust comparison - but that is the poetic liberty that tour guides have. Kitted out in our pink plastic ponchos in a line that stretched around like a python waiting to board - we looked a colony of retarded penguins.
    It was so f#$n hot it sun waiting to go I have a true appreciation of what a roast chicken must endure in an oven bag.

    ... cup. Watched a 3D hockey game, it really is an intensely physical game requiring a lot of body coordination and finese. Finally we got to have a shoot out against a computerised goalie.. I'm sad to report that neither of us scored, but I'm playing the injury card (no we weren't competing against each other at all ;). Had I been fully fit I definitely would've scored... and beaten Michael! Impressions of Toronto have not changed, it's very industrial ...

    ... on the TV control and Pat had to reset the cable TV so now Richard knows what button not to touch. Richard loves the coffee drip filter machine it is in overdrive every morning lucky we have ground coffee pouches from other Vacational Rentals we have stayed at.

    Lunch packed and we are ready to go down the scenic road through Chippawa to Dufferin Islands where we parked the Pontiac for the day. Took a video of ...
