We have not seen a "winter's day" in California since we arrived, by the sound of it this sunny and hot weather is very unusual and even though everyone is out enjoying the sun and surf what they really need here is rain. After having lunch in the London Bridge Pub we have a wander around the wharf and I get some photos of the sea lions while Elaine checks out a store full of shiny glittering things. When I get back to her she's still perusing their wares, so I'm not in trouble for wandering off taking photos this time around! On ...

... No, we did what any cowardly city folk would do and walked quickly away in the opposite direction, vaguely horrified by killing anything bigger than a mosquito. Ventura seemed to be all about the animals. There was a lot of dogs here and we were so lucky to see masses of wild dolphins swimming past the beach or playing in the ocean by our campsight. Not sure what the obsession with dolphins is really, but I fully endorse it, they rock. Then on our last day here we came across what ...
