    ... of the line. Nana was waiting for us at the station and enjoyed the image of lanky me strolling down the ramp with a backpack and two comically oversized bags.     ... tolls and traffic - too much shopping - cold beer on a hot day at the Jets game - and did I mention happy hour? On Monday we drove to Cape Cod and explored and enjoyed a nice dinner near Chatham. Very quiet but beautiful area. At one visitor info booth we stopped at, the lady thought we were from England because Mark used the term 'brilliant' and no one except the English say that. Go figure. ...

    ... the driveway. In the end, we'd called Ray to get permission to back into his front lawn in order to turn ourselves around, came within a foot of both of his decorative trees on either side of our RV without breaking a single branch, side-stepped his lawn sprinklers by mere inches, and finally let gravity do its thing when we were finally in position. A few scraps in the road and a bent to hell hitch (that we don't use anyway) later, we were on the road.

    ... starting to get back to normal here. The same cannot be said for down south, sending my thoughts and prayers to all those affected. It is unbelievable that Mother Nature can inflict such damage.

    Speaking of mid term exams, since they have been pushed back I have two History exams tomorrow and one American Literature exam next Thursday. I am feeling pretty confident with them but I can't help but be a little nervous! ...
