    ... was at the Dixie Lounge & Dining room, very old & dark, ate in the bar. Just had to check out Lucky Lil's Casino, it was inside the Comfort Inn that is next to The RV Park, what a hoot, maybe 12 machines!! Best part of the day by far, we got watch the Cardinals & Bristol ...

    ... the most profitable?? On our right in the far distance, we could see an outline of the Rockies.  We didn't actually go on into Fort MacLeod as we discovered (thanks to Chickie who apparently had recovered from her snit the other day) a shortcut that saved us several miles of driving. On a good road no less. Maybe she was ready to get back in the States also...that figuring out the difference between miles and kilometers HAS to be ******* her brain! At any rate, just ...

    ... Ocean (flat tire stopped me), as far East and as far West as you can drive in continental North America, and Key West will be the furthest South. I will also be spending considerable time at Kennedy Space Centre as well as incorporating 2 CSAPS Plastic Surgery shoots into the trip. One in Atlanta that I am driving to, and one in Philadelphia that I am flying to from Daytona Beach.

    ... I kept sleeping...but Joan was different. She woke up, starved of air, wondering what had gone wrong. She tried to wake me by talking to me, but I had put in some earplugs to eliminate the train noise. I had spent 40 years training myself to stay awake with that noise, and felt that I would be kept awake, identifying when the brakes are set, when we go over switches, etc. Eventually, Joan was able to rouse me, worried ...
