... soap just because I gave her my recently finished copy of ‘Lord of the Rings’. They told us that there had been a bear around the campsite the night before, which obviously made Sevi’s day – that was until about 30 minutes later…

Our neighbour came over and told us the bear was back! Severin grabbed his camera and I followed tentatively behind him holding the grilling tool, (like that was going to protect me!) and ...

(My friend Janine also warned me about ice cream up here – her theory is they are fattening us up for the bears. I can’t disagree, but it was really good!) ... picked us up to go to Pints for Paths. (12 of the local brewery's were there). Of course we had to sample some of the local goods (we did a good job everyone would of been proud of us). A local fund raiser to build a 16 mile bike path from West Glacier. The shuttle picked us up around 23:30 (11:30) what a great time. Met a couple (Jill and Gordon) from Canada, spent the evening drinking and chatting with them, what a fun ...

... Bit of a change from the beginning of the trip where a 1 mile loop to Nymph Lake was a challenge. There was still masses of snow up there as well. A couple of guides were trying to clear part of the trail by digging out a bridge and they were honestly about 6ft down and still digging. Some trails aren't even open yet including the Highline Trail, which looked incredible, traversing the peaks. Sadly ...
