... War Memorial. If you are in Canberra, it is a’ must see’. Even Aussies agree on that. As it happens preparations are in place for Remembrance Sunday this weekend. Although the really big day of Commemoration in the Aussie calendar is April 25, Anzac Day. This is the day when the Nation remembers the landing of the Australian army on a beach in a small place called Gallipoli in Turkey.

... we visited the market and brought some yummy dips and a lovely blood plum dressing, too die for hmmm, then the mint factory of course. Gotta love coin collections, especially the old and rare coins. Even made my own 2014 coin �� I have four more weekends in Sydney, will look for more places to visit before I leave to the new farm in September. Such fun! ����� ...

Going to the Museum

Today, after our delicious buffet breakfast, we went to the National Museum. We saw Phar Lap,s heart, Captain Cook's cannon and I stood in a big bucket from a digger from the Tom Price mine.

Then we went to the Old bus depot markets for lunch. We looked around the markets and went to Canberra glassworks. I saw how people blow glass and make cool things out of glass.
