... up the cute little beach town of Avila and went to Maria Callender’s for a Kahalua cream pipe. We also did a little more shopping at another outlet mall just to ensure we weren’t missing anything for our South American advantage. Jay was content as we did spend some time at sport stores buying a new tent for SA.

It was so lovely spending time with Sally and Kirra in the US, you guys were outstanding tour guides and the best bit was getting to cruise ...

... much time as people had flights in just a couple of hours! We took our last drive to the Custom hotel, where transfers to the airport were, and where most of our new friends were staying the night before their flight.From there.. We did a big hands in, hugs, almost tears.. And a big goodbye to everyone. It was very, very sad . We were like a family, and we just loved each other from the moment we met!!

The view of perfectly formed abs playing an intense game of volleyball, turquoise waves and lively groups of twenty-something's parading the sand made the trek well worth it. ... There was not much traffic and we arrived at the Waianae Harbor early, so the driver kept driving up the coast and showed us Makua Cave which was cool. I’d never been to that side of the island so it was nice to finally get out there and see the different beaches including Makaha. The mountains are quite pretty (though not as pretty as the Ko’olaus in my opinion) but I think the windward side, Waikiki and North Shore are more to my taste; I just think the scenery ...

... in LA. It was now approx 8:30 am of the same day we departed. It took quite a way to get to customs and border control as it's such a huge airport. Hundreds of people made their way their and we honestly thought we had landed in Asia. There were Asian groups of tourists everywhere then announcements in Asian as well. It was very surprising. We finally made it to the customs officer who verified all our passports and visa's until ...
