... You need to have an appointment to shop there, and those appointments cost up to $1500!!! Just to walk in the door!! Our next stop was lunch at the Farmers Market and Grove. ... lay in the sun soaking up the last of the heat before returning to the NZ winter! We dropped Richard at the airport after lunch for his flight back to London :-( Tonight the girls and I did a bit of shopping. We leave here tomorrow night so will have a quiet morning and another swim before then. We are all looking forward to getting "home" and seeing everybody.

We only had 24 hours to spend in LA, arriving at 2 in the afternoon ANC leaving the same time the following day. We checked into our overpriced grotty motel and headed out to Hollywood. We followed the walk of fame through Hollywood boulevard, saw the Chinese theatre, saw the Hollywood sign in the hills and did some shopping.
