Our drive from New Jersey to the Hamptons took us up through New York. Sounds daunting but the roads and bridges just roll on though Brooklyn, across Staten Island then up through the Hampton Bays.
The Hamptons lives up to it reputation having very, very grand houses on large, manicured properties. Lots of lovely (and expensive) shops in the quaint villages and long sandy ...

... line to get to the top of the light house. If you are on a tight schedule forget going to the top. Most of the places in Montauk have a minimum to use your card and vending machines are pretty rare and costly. So make sure you have enough fluids, food and cash. and Sophie Young in the new rehabilitated “Chelsea” area and it
was nice to have a quick update on the stay of Sophie this summer in

Even though this is my first post,I have an entire diary full of stories that I would like to post from when my adventure started, about a year ago. Ooohhh how I love technology sometimes and the fact that I don't have to clutter up my life in order for me to remember all my memories. So here I go. I am a nanny for a Family in New York City and they are currently enjoying a nice vacation in Montauk. Of Course I had to join because I have to help ...
