Thank goodness for Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson pandora stations. Stopped at a pleasant grocery store in Elko for sandwiches and ...

... near the summit and fortunately it was all in the ditches and on the hills.

The route we are taking is one of the most direct for our destination, the North Ranch Escapee RV Park and heads south and south-east towards Las Vegas. The area along the coast is experiencing foggy weather with precipitation. Not were we want to be right now! We can also catch up with some friends in Arizona before heading to San Diego.
