... transportation system. Sydney and Melbourne (lesser extent) are so confusing to me, but so far in LA and San Fran we haven't had any problems. Took us about an hour to hour & half to make it from airport to hotel. Dad had a mild panic attack on BART after I locked his bag (TSA lock) for the first time when we were in the car driving to SFO. He freaked that he wouldn't be able to open it again because he didn't have a key! Lol. He didn't realise what a TSA lock is :) ...

Photos don't convey its size, unless you look at adjacent 'normal' trees! In the Giant Forest, there are hundreds of Sequoias, it is extraordinary! After a crazy night Mactar and me woke up on a couch in the garage of the frat house we partied in. A little hung over we walked to the a burger place about 5 blocks away and had a very good morning Burger with some sweet potato fries and a shake. As soon as we came back played a couple rounds of beer dice and spitz pass auf. At around 2 o'clock we went to the fret house next door where a big day party was going on. They had a DJ, ...

... apartment at 1pm, and arrived a little early - giving ourselves 20 mins to sun-bathe in the garden, which was VERY nice!

Allie showed us in, and I have to say we are very lucky to have chosen an absolutely lovely apartment, one of 5 in an old clapper-board house, set in a beautiful tree-lined road. Allie's young daughter, Olivia (!), showed us Henry, a crazy little kitten who we get to look after as part of ...
