    ... and tried some pancakes ( savoury and sweet ) which we shared. Picking up the car we headed back for Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. We had seen on the way through the Titanic museum so decided to go, very interesting two hours, we came out. CAR where had we put??? For a change we walked the car park, like everything in the U.S. It's big. We laughed and laughed. We had been told about a fire works display in Knoxville ...

    What a day! This morning we left the motel after three very comfortable nights to set off for Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge Tennessee. We crossed the border into Tennessee from North Carolina after 45 minutes. We found Gatlinburg very busy as they were preparing for a midnight grand 4th July parade. Already people had put their chairs out along the pavement ready for the evening. Thinking Pigeon Forge...Dolly Parton's home town, would be the same and as time was ...

    ... s terrible out there; even delayed Mom's departure by a day. Knoxville doesn't seem to deal well with a little winter weather as you can see by the frozen truck. The driver was in Suttree's, taking in some literary inspiration no doubt; Cormac would be proud. But, Dad said the view of Market Square from their hotel room is quite pretty and, Coffee & Chocolate is still close enough to make a quick run.

    ... 16 pounds, At one point the guide turns out the lights and you find out what TOTAL DARK is, Its unreal just how dark that is. The are a few formations along the way and the walk back up is a little tough but we made it.(all the walks up and down around Yonah Mt, Campground helped). Would recomend doing this adventure ...

    Once arriving at the farm we hopped onto the back of tractor trailer and were towed around the fields, weaving between livestock, hay bails and pumpkins. We chose the pumpkin from the field and hopped back aboard.
