    ... cake fresh, our car survived the torment of the car park! Pressing on towards SFO, Carolyn, the trusty navigator, forgot to wake at the 46km mark to guide Cathy towards our route for Santa Jose. Waiting an endless time for the iPad to reroute us, we wondered why it was that Cathy so desperately wanted to go out of our way to see San Jose anyway......     Meeting with friends today.

    Lina and Eric live in Palo Alto; she works at U -Stanford (Ph.D. Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford School of Medicine and Eric works for PWC.

    Phillip and Zoe both work at Google and are in Mountainview.

    I know both Lina and Phillip from karate in Edmonton.

    Red would not start. Good thing we noticed before today. Weird because a new battery was put in last fall. :(
