... preparing gear for the trip!!
Most of our gear is already packed and we are finishing up with the food! This year on our trip we will be visiting some civil war battlegrounds and will be biking most of the trip on crushed limestone and we have never done a trip on that.

... and sat down to a very scrumptious meal lovingly prepared by Sara Lynn. What a cook! One of their friends was there as well and she brought her homemade fruit soup. Now that was a first for us, and we are ready to find a recipe to make at home! Yum. After a relaxing and delicious meal we played some Scrabble and Quiddler and called it a night. The next morning Jim and I enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and chat with Sara Lynn and Barbie ...
... a sad surprise in store.
So...now all we do is wait!
Tomorrow is going to be the longest. day. EVER. But I CAN'T WAIT!

... a second. Why is it that every photo for an official document turns out botched? Seriously. I always end up looking like I don't know what's going on. And the people that take the pictures don't bother telling you that, they just PRINT IT and USE IT. And you're STUCK WITH IT FOR TEN YEARS.
